May 18, 21, 25th June 1st, June 3rd. Your child may bring a healthy snack to enjoy after each SOL test. SOL TESTING The SOL test dates are rapidly approaching. Please note that there has been an addition to our schedule. Due to the length of the Reading SOL we will administer it in 2 parts. Part One will be given as scheduled on Tuesday, May 18th. Part Two will be given Friday, 21st. Please make a note of this new date on your calendar.
It is important for your child to get a good night sleep and eat a healthy, protein rich breakfast. While we want your children to take the testing seriously, we do not want to inflict any undue anxiety. Therefore, we will be maintaining our routines and structures in class on the mornings of the test. Now is not the time to introduce any new routine, activity, or excitment into the classroom! When our testing is complete for the day we will have a longer recess to allow the children to relax and blow off a little steam. If you would like to provide a small, healthy celebratory treat to be enjoyed outdoors when we are finished with the exam please let me know. Thank you!!
SOL Test DatesSOL's are coming! Check out the SOL link at the bottom of our webpage for online sol tests. Please try to plan doctor appointments around these dates. More information will be coming soon!
